The International Biotechnology Symposium (IBS) is organized under the auspices of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). The first IBS was held in 1960 in Rome under the name "International Fermentation Symposium". The name "International Biotechnology Symposium" was first adopted in 1984 in New Delhi, India. Since its inception, IBS has been successfully convened in 10 different countries. Today, it is recognized as the largest international conference in the rapidly growing field of biotechnology. The upcoming IBS is the first to be held in China. |

The concurrent Exhibition will provide excellent opportunities for the participants to meet new exhibitors as well as reconnect with their established suppliers/customers. Most importantly, it is a place to learn of the latest academic publications, bioproducts, instruments, and services, as well as a platform to foster various collaborations. Exhibitors are advised to reserve their exhibition spaces earlier. Each standard booth (3´；3 m2) costs USD 2000, unless otherwise noted. |

All participants and their accompanists are kindly invited to the welcome party, the performance of Chinese acrobatics, folk music and dance. Poster Session will be served with soft drinks and beverages without charge. The Excursion Journey, Chinese Food and Culture, and the Banquet may require payments, depending on the financial budget capacity.
